Insightful Food Safety offers a 15-hour food
service sanitation course which follows the Illinois Department
of Public Health's 15-hour syllabus; a 5-hour refresher course
is also available.
The Illinois State Department of Public Health Food Service Sanitation
Code requires that all food service establishments that prepare
and serve food shall be under operational supervision of a certified
manager or supervisor (Section 750.540, IL Food Code). One certified
person must be on the premises at all times. All establishments
which serve food must complete 15 hours of instruction from a licensed
Sanitation Instructor and then successfully pass the Illinois State
Food Service Sanitation exam.

Insightful Food Safety has over 30 years of hands-on foodservice
training. We are experienced in all areas of food production, from
dishwashing to gourmet catering.
Insightful trains and motivates managers to the highest standards
of food safety and sanitation. In compliance of local and state
requirements, we follow the syllabus of the Illinois Department
of Public Health Code.
